Is your religion in good shape these days or is it dull
as last year's TV sitcoms? Are the same old exhortations
still good? Familiar antique language that hides
more than it reveals? If you want a bit more pizzazz
in your faith, more understanding, something you
can use, take a look at the invitation of this letter. It
does not offer something new but rather it offers
something you may have overlooked.
The key is to discover and use the gifts of grace that
will help us land in the right place, rather than filling
random vacancies in our individual "church work".-
Sometimes it feels as though we are left behind,
buried in the remnants of good intentions, but the
Lord calls us to some truly significant work How do
we manage this? The answer is to use the spiritual
gifts outlined in the Bible, the gifts of grace and
power. Jesus himself said that His Holy Spirit would
be poured out on his people and that the Christians,
with all their spiritual warts and scars would do incredible
things. More big news: the Lord not only
gives us the direction to use these gifts but He also
provides the fuel to drive this journey of faith .
